The IntelliSAW humidity sensor provides continuous, real-time monitoring of critical electrical energy assets to identify electrical discharges' potential.
They are the ideal method for continuous real-time monitoring of critical points in medium or low voltage systems, such as busbars, switch contacts, and cables.
Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) technology allows for a 100% wireless, passive (no power required) continuous temperature monitoring sensor. SAW sensors were designed specifically for active power supplies with basic insulation levels (BIL) up to 185kV.
IntelliSAW Low Profile (LP) sensors have all the benefits of IntelliSAW SAW (IS) sensors, with slightly different dimensions to meet additional network installation requirements. To have a low profile sensor in some installations allows for installing sensors where the IS sensor mounted on a higher bolt would not have adequate clearance.
This low profile sensor allows unique installations, such as installation directly on a circuit breaker arm.
IntelliSAW, low-voltage temperature sensors, provide monitoring data based on physical contact with potential (powered) hot spots while ensuring electrical isolation through integrated wireless near-field coupling (iNFC) technology.
