DIRECT OPERATED" ELECTROVALVES
The coil itself provides all the force required to operate the valve. The power of the coil determines the maximum working pressure and the valve opening. This type of valve can work from zero pressure in the pipeline up to the maximum nominal pressure.
SERVO-ASSISTED OPENING" ELECTRO VALVES
The force required to operate the valve provides the pressure of the fluid circulating in the pipe. The maximum working pressure and the valve opening do not depend on the coil power. This type of valve can operate at relatively high pressures with larger through holes than directly operated electro valves. It should be noted that the force required to open the valve is provided by the pressure of the fluid itself and therefore requires a minimum pressure in the pipe so that the valve can open and overcome the spring force that keeps it closed.
